Are you planning a destination wedding and looking for the perfect way to give your guests a sneak peek of the setting? If you’re planning a wedding abroad, many of your guests may have never experienced a wedding in an old-world setting. Creating special and unique invitations and day-of paper that reflect the event’s charm can generate excitement from the start.
For Morgan and Patrick’s wedding at the Villa Astor in Sorrento, Italy, we achieved just that. Guided by their dedicated planner, Cydney of Westgate Weddings and Events, we transported guests to their celebration through exquisite paper designs.
Incorporating custom watercolor artwork of their stunning venue, combined with delicate gold foil and letterpress printing on handmade paper, we crafted a fine art design with a touch of modern elegance. On the wedding day, custom menus, adorned with silk ribbon and oval placards, added a personal touch to each place setting. To enhance the dining experience, each guest’s name card featured watercolor icons corresponding to their meal choice, streamlining meal service for the wait staff. Simple and clean oval table numbers let the floral center pieces shine while directing guests to their seats.
Additionally, we designed a custom bar front incorporating the couple’s monogram and a floral pattern that mirrored the incredible floral designs created for the wedding.
